We are looking for a part-time (3-4 days) visual communications and graphic designer with 3-5 years’ work experience to join our growing Client Services team.

Role

Capire Consulting Group is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our team and support our Visual Communications and Graphic Design Lead. You will provide a range of services to Capire and our clients including:

• Supporting the management of the Capire brand, website and marketing activities.
• Drafting designed collateral and publications to support our Client projects including newsletters, workshop materials and reports.
• Drafting infographics and accessible educational resources for innovative engagement tools.
• Coordinating print production and preparing artwork for print, display, web and digital.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate will:

• Have a relevant degree (e.g. graphic design, visual arts).
• Be a highly motivated team-player, self-starter and skilled at juggling multiple projects.
• Have a strong work ethos, excellent interpersonal skills, including ability to manage timelines and client expectations.
• Be experienced working in deadline-driven project delivery environment.
• Be experienced in producing a range of reports, plans, presentations and other marketing materials, preferably within an urban planning and public policy context.
• Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator). Skills in multi-media design, including video and audio editing will be highly regarded.
• Have strong communication skills, ensuring issues and risks to delivery of work are discussed early and continuously with the lead Graphic Designer.
• Bring professionalism, humour and a solutions-focused mindset to all aspects of work.

WHAT WE OFFER

• A competitive financial package will be negotiated with the successful candidate, including access to the Capire employee bonus scheme. An indicative full time salary range is between $65k to $75k plus super, depending on experience.
• A part-time role at 0.6 FTE (22.5 hours per week) up to 0.8FTE (30 hours per week).
• A flexible working environment, with flexible leave provisions. Our office is based in Collingwood, Victoria, but we work flexibly from both our office, our clients’ offices and from home.
