We're looking for a dynamic Investment Operations Senior Associate to join our team. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves the challenge of ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes, this role is for you. You'll be the key player in making sure our trades are executed and settled smoothly, collaborating with brokers and trading platforms, troubleshooting and keep our operations seamless.

The voluntary carbon market is new and rapidly evolving, which means you’ll have the opportunity to navigate and learn about its emerging market infrastructure firsthand. You’ll keep a close eye on portfolio positions, ensuring everything is in perfect alignment across our systems, banks, and trading platforms. You'll work closely with our CIO, helping to refine processes to keep our data audit-proof and accurate. Plus, you'll be the go-to person for our fund administrator when they prepare the fund’s monthly reporting, and you’ll be stepping in to tackle any issues that come up.

You’ll also get your hands on a variety of other tasks, from setting up accounts and managing treasury operations to supporting our year-end audits and regulatory filings. As we continue to grow and adapt to the changes in the carbon market, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our processes, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve and compliant with all regulations.   • Accelerating climate action by supporting energy transitions in Developing Countries and bringing trusted carbon offset solutions to businesses.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • 5+ years investment operations experience in a in a financial services organisation (i.e., fund manager, custodian, or fund administrator) ideally working with unstructured products that require a high degree of manual intervention.
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, business or similar.
  • Proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience in working across cultures, languages and time zones.

  • Very high attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in evolving or ambiguous environments.
