The Role

We are seeking a Bid Coordinator to join our Strategic Engagement & Partnerships (SEP) team. This role will support and assist in coordinating and securing new donor-funded infrastructure and safeguards projects opportunities for the Sustainable Infrastructure and Impacts & Safeguards service lines for primary donor clients such as World Bank Group, Asian Development Bank, other international financial institutions and Private Clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Duties and tasks required

The Bid Coordinator will support the Strategic Engagement and Partnerships team on Sustainable Infrastructure and Impact & Safeguards service line bids within the Sustainable Infrastructure and Impacts & Advisory service lines. The role will deliver the following:

  • Coordinate the Sustainable Infrastructure and Impacts & Safeguards service lines pursuits for new donor-funded opportunities
  • Research, identify and track relevant business opportunities and identify appropriate partners to co-create, co-bid on opportunities and sign relevant MOUs
  • Work closely with the Head of SEP and Managers in the Commercial Advisory business line to scout for new opportunities relevant for the business, keep abreast of bidding dynamics, potential partners, and regularly monitor donor activity
  • Working closely with the SEP team to anticipate and plan for recruitment activities for upcoming opportunities and, overseen/advised by the BD Senior Manager or Manager, negotiate terms and conditions with preferred candidates, ensuring value for money and compliance with DT Global and client requirements.
  • Proactively establish and maintain strategic relationships with key infrastructure stakeholders including key clients, national consultants, and other local and international partners and subcontractors
  • Be fully involved and take responsibility for the creation of proposals independently as well as in collaboration with the teams, as required
  • Participate in collaboration workshops with the client that will inform the proposal development.
  • Prepare a bid schedule that captures all necessary EOI/tender requirements, and assign resources and responsibilities to ensure we can deliver against timelines and responsibilities. Work with the Bid Manager to ensure bid teams are coordinating workloads and producing high-quality results within designated timeframes and ensure our bidding efforts effectively respond to client requirements.
  • Provide targeted inputs into proposals, including RFT/DT Global compliance documentation, ensure all bids comply with the DT Global Quality Management System (QMS) through revision and updating of document templates
  • Prepare bid agreements for individuals and organisations, including seeking relevant HR advice and guidance regarding contracting arrangements
  • Manage the unsecured pipeline register and Consultants database, and facilitate pipeline meetings for the Sustainable Infrastructure and Impact & Safeguards service line teams
  • All other duties as required

About You

The successful candidate will present with a high level of interpersonal skills and excellent organisational and time management skills. S/he must be willing to take on a variety of tasks that may be required to ensure efficient operation of the business units and has the ability to interpret and apply policies, requirements and procedures and use of corporate systems. At least 3-5 years of professional working experience in a relevant sector.
