The Building Pacific Capacity Program (BPaC) is an Australian Government initiative funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and managed by Cardno Emerging Markets. It provides Pacific Island Countries with a suite of flexible, fit-for-purpose options that support broad governance and stability development outcomes.
The Public Financial Management (PFM) Adviser will be based in the PFM and Finance Sector Division, MoF to provide support and reporting to DFAT funded programs and support to broader PFM operations, reforms and initiative set by Government of Samoa (GoS). They will have particular engagement with the finance sector plan and reforms identified under the multi-donor Joint Action Policy Matrix (JPAM), providing a continuity to assistance between missions. It is expected they would also work closely with other technical assistance based within Ministry of Finance (MoF), including procurement advisers and the Centralised Technical Services Support Unit (CTSSU).
This role is offered for 12 months, with the possibility of a 12 month extension (12+12).
