About the role:
The Salesforce CRM Administrator is responsible for managing CARE Australia’s Salesforce instance, ensuring that our setup meets the needs of our Fundraising and Marketing team. This includes maintaining and improving the user interface (Lightning), keeping and maintaining the currency, accuracy and consistency of our CRM data and making sure that CRM processes and automations run smoothly.
In addition to systems development and operation, the CRM Administrator also provides support to end-users (including training) and provides assistance with data requests (complex dashboard creation, creating complex data structures, import and export) and knowledge management.
We have embraced the Salesforce platform in many forms and you will have the opportunity to work on more than Non Profit Success Pack. We also use Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, telephony, Omnichannel, case management, and more. Being part of a small specialised team, you will get the opportunity to take a lead role in the end-to-end delivery of new features, identify areas of improvement where manual processes can be simplified, automated, or self-service options can be created. One of the first projects you will be working on is the implementation of StoreConnect. This is a hybrid role.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as administrator of our Salesforce CRM instance, ensuring operational continuity of the platform. Managing access, user licences and service quotas. Keep track of platform changes and ensure minimal disruption to CA’s operations.
- Manage changes to Salesforce UI and data structure, to ensure it meets the changing needs of the fundraising team.
- Ensuring production instance is at par with industry standards and best practices
- Ensure the consistency and reliability of our CRM data, by implementing and conducting data hygiene activities. Work with Senior Manager, Data keeping data quality standards up-to-date and enforce their application.
- Assist Fundraising team with ongoing appeals and campaigns, providing input and control on campaign data structures and implementing any changes in the CRM. Execute bulk data import and export requests as necessary.
- Work together with Senior Manager, Data identifying opportunities to improve and simplify existing processes, and to automating repetitive data input or export tasks.
- Serve as a focal point for CRM’s questions across all users. Identify opportunities to expand or improve the way users interact with the CRM.
- Make sure that all documentation pertaining to the CRM platform and related processes remains current and meets business and user requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to implement and support solutions.
Ideally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience working as a Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce functional or technical specialist is required, preferably in fundraising, marketing or a sales or campaign-driven setup.
- Demonstrable knowledge of Salesforce CRM and its key components, including UI design, data model and integration mechanisms.
- Knowledge of Salesforce user functionality, including reporting and dashboard modules.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Salesforce bulk operation mechanisms, capable of conducting bulk import/exports.
- Keen awareness of new Salesforce innovations and demonstrate motivation for continuous improvement.
Desirable
- Knowledge of Salesforce’s Marketing Cloud and how it integrated with a CRM
- Good understanding of how Salesforce automation operates. Knowledge of Flow
- Basic coding (in any modern language) and SQL/SOQL/SOSL skills
- A good understanding of Australian Privacy Principles
- Experience in business analysis
