The Business Partnership and Fundraising Manager role with Carers WA is a full-time, fixed-term contract until June 2026. The position attracts a salary of $120,000 p.a., plus super, salary packaging, 5 weeks annual leave (with 17.5% leave loading) and 2 wellness days per annum.
Carers WA is the peak body representing the needs and interests of carers in Western Australia and is part of a national network of Carers Associations providing a range of support services, supporting Carers across Western Australia. Carers provide unpaid care and support to family members and friends who have disability, mental health challenges, a chronic condition, terminal illness, an alcohol or other drug issue or who are frail aged.
By contributing significantly to our growth and development, this role directly affects our growth ambitions enabling further high-quality services and supports to Carers throughout Western Australia.
The main responsibility of this role is to develop a robust fundraising strategy that includes a comprehensive approach for identifying potential donors and managing these relationships.
The role is across opportunities and grants/tenders which would expand our suite of services. This involves researching, identifying, and building relationships with potential donors, using innovative and personalised approaches to engage and inspire them to support our cause; as well as identifying suitable grant opportunities, crafting persuasive proposals, and managing the submission process to maximise our chances of success.
The role regularly provides updates and reports to the Executive team and Board on the progress of fundraising efforts. This includes detailed data analysis to track the success of various fundraising initiatives, strategic insights to guide future efforts, and recommendations on how to optimise our fundraising strategy.
