Caseworkers - Various Programs - Tuggerah

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay

At CatholicCare we believe every person has the right to feel safe, respected and valued and our workers do more than just carry out this vision – they’re the lifeblood of CatholicCare.

We understand the competition for skilled Caseworkers is high, but the roles we offer go beyond the ordinary. These aren’t just jobs - they’re opportunities to fulfil a meaningful calling.

CatholicCare is highly respected in the community services space. We consistently secure key contracts that allow us to create lasting change thanks to our proven track record of innovation, compassion and results.

When you join us, you’re not just joining any organisation – you’re becoming part of a team that’s actively shaping the future of support and advocacy in the community services space. As part of our team, you’ll work closely with a diverse range of clients and transform lives every day.

About the roles:

We are experiencing significant growth and need a range of skilled and experienced Caseworkers to join our specialist teams in:

  • Mental Health
  • Homelessness
  • Domestic & Family Violence
  • Intensive Family Preservation

These are fixed-term contracts until 30 June 2025 with the potential to explore permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
Not sure if CatholicCare will be the right fit for you longer-term? A contract role will give you an opportunity to try us out, to get to know our team, values and culture before potentially transitioning to a permanent position (if that is of interest to you).

Using a best-practice approach, you’ll work to achieve therapeutic outcomes, strengthen capabilities and drive meaningful change. You’ll provide compassionate, client-centred, and trauma-informed support to individuals and families navigating complex challenges. Whether it’s providing hands-on case management, creating tailored safety plans, delivering advocacy or offering education, you’ll play a vital role in fostering resilience and independence.

Based at our Central Coast Family Centre in Tuggerah, you will be required to travel across the Central Coast visiting clients and their families in their homes and in the community.

You do not need to be Catholic, or of any faith to work for us. What unites us as workers are our values of compassion, courage, excellence, respect and social justice.
