A NO MORE Community Engagement Worker plays a vital role in engaging sporting clubs, workplaces, and communities to develop local strategies for preventing domestic and family violence. This role is focused on building relationships, fostering cultural change, and supporting communities in developing Domestic Violence Action Plans (D-VAPs). Community Engagement Workers deliver education and awareness sessions, connect organisations with support services, and empower community leaders to take action against violence. They work closely with local stakeholders, ensuring that prevention strategies are culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, and community-driven.
