  • $88,000 to $100,000 (Base + Super)

A glimpse of the things you’ll be doing!

  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual developmental intervention programs and provide timely written assessment reports, including appropriate recommendations
  • Empower and enable clients, families and carers to access both specialist and mainstream community supports
  • Operating within an interprofessional model providing assessment and intervention to support our clients to achieve their goals
  • Providing timely written reports, including appropriate recommendations to assist with ongoing therapy planning
  • Maintain a case load ensuring all plans are current, up-to-date and reviewed in a timely manner
  • Engage with external providers in line with client goals and recommendations
  • Participate in clinical supervision and team meetings

Our Occupational therapists works closely with other Clinical therapies and Home Care team, to receive guidance and exchange information, and with clients and their families, to build supportive relationships within the confines of external funding guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy), or equivalent and registered with AHPRA
  • Working with Children Check and understanding of Child Protection Legislation
  • Current NSW driver license and use of registered motor vehicle

Desirable :

  • Understanding of NDIS or Aged Care funding models
  • Experience working with children, or adults and aged care clients in the community
