Anglicare and CatholicCare are collaborating to deliver an exciting new and life changing program called Supporting Recovery. We are looking for passionate, highly skilled and experienced manager to lead this new program across South Western Sydney.
The Supporting Recovery program will deliver Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) trauma-informed mental health care services within South West Sydney to support victim-survivors in their longer-term recovery.
Key elements of the service include:
- Victim-survivors of FDSV and their families have free access for up to 2 years to evidence-based trauma informed mental health care.
- Provision of psychological therapies and other appropriate wellbeing and social interventions.
- Collaborations with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assist with referral pathways.
- Community engagement activities to increase community awareness.
What you’ll be doing…
In this role you’ll be leading a team of practitioners (multi-disciplinary and / or specialist staff) to achieve best practice and client outcomes.
- Providing direction, support practitioners of different backgrounds to achieve best practice and client outcomes
- Monitoring quality assurance activities and providing specialist advice to managers on service delivery issues, team performance, and related matters
- Provide guidance and oversight to team members on the management of complex and high needs clients within agreed service areas and in line with expertise and qualifications
- Fostering and maintaining positive working relationships with key stakeholders to achieve client, community and funding outcomes
- Ensure service is delivered in line with all relevant contractual obligations and maintain positive and productive relationships with funding account managers
- Carrying a small client caseload

What you will need
- Industry-relevant experience in coordinating services and supporting individuals and teams to deliver client outcomes
- Relevant program specific qualifications, expertise, and professional membership – tertiary degree qualification applicable to the role (e.g. psychology, counselling, social work, nursing or similar) and minimum level 4 ACA or PACFA
- Clinical or APHRA or AASW accreditation
- Demonstrated ability to build and leverage relationships across multi-functional or multi-disciplinary teams to achieve agreed objectives
- Demonstrated understanding of child protection, domestic and family violence and other relevant legislation as required by service
- Demonstrated capacity to implement a person centred approach to service delivery
- High level communication and negotiation skills, strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multi task and prioritise
- Experience using electronic client record management systems
- A current Working with Children Check
