ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Program Coordinator – Interfaith Dialogue, your primary duty is to lead the facilitation of our Interfaith Encounters Inter-school Program within faith-based schools and to support implementation of the programs run by our partner organisation, Together for Humanity (TFH).

Knowledge and Interests:
- Understanding of the principles of Interfaith dialogue and why Interfaith / or cross-cultural relationships matter as a necessity for a more cohesive and compassionate society.
- Knowledge, passion and appreciation for multicultural and diverse communities.
- Familiarity with differing religious faiths (including the Catholic faith, the Jewish faith and the Islamic faith), their faith teachings and/or an understanding of human rights frameworks measures of healthy and thriving and peaceful societies.Experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering or facilitating training or education programs in schools and/or with young people.
- Demonstrated experience with programs that promote inclusivity, empathy, and unity across diverse communities.
- Demonstrated experience of working in challenging cross-cultural or interfaith environments.
- Demonstrated experience with experiential learning models that support students with critical thinking, decision making and empowered responses.
Skills
- Well-developed organisational and administrative skills and ability to manage time effectively
- Experienced user of MS programs – Word, Outlook, Teams
- Excellent communication skills including with young people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and school staff.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
- Eligible to work in Australia.
