ROLE

Exciting newly created Fundraising Manager responsible for developing, driving and executing the fundraising strategy with a focus on community peer-to-peer fundraising (online not in- person) and building traditional individual giving channels of fundraising.

Reporting to the Head of Strategy and working closely with the entire, tight-knit team, this role will require an entrepreneurial and experienced strategic fundraising professional (with a background in Community Fundraising and Individual Giving) to drive support and income for the Foundation. You get to further develop their flagship Liptember campaign, use your highly developed big picture thinking combined with strong execution skills to lead & deliver successful fundraising initiatives and outcomes.

This really is a unique opportunity to make your mark, build on your proven Peer -to -Peer digital fundraising experience and lead the input of future fundraising activities for the Liptember Foundation. This role offers real opportunity to take ownership and collaborate with this small, high performing team; committed to supporting women needing access to mental health services the most.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop strategic fundraising plan in line with objectives & targets set in Foundation’s 2025-2030 strategic plan.
  • Lead and implement fundraising campaigns, activities and programs, grow and diversify revenue streams through innovative fundraising strategies.
  • Develop plans with a focus on the development of new channels, initiatives and systems to optimise long-term fundraising revenue and ROI.
  • Manage and enhance existing annual flagship fundraising campaign, Liptember, to optimise engagement & results.
  • Build cases for support, develop content for fundraising materials, reports & planning documents.
  • Analyse & review performance, identifying alternative approaches to improve program performance.
  • Conduct annual performance reports to support annual growth plans
  • Manage the fundraising budget to meet annual income targets
  • Develop and maintain effective systems and processes, including the CRM (Salesforce), supporting robust development and engagement activities.
  • Manage one direct report (Campaigns Lead), working collaboratively with the CEO and wider team: promoting fundraising messages & objectives across all channels.
  • Proactively contribute to the Liptember Foundation’s culture – by being an easy going, nimble, outside the box thinker, happy to work collaboratively as a team player whilst being respectful and having fun.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated success (3-5 years) in peer-to-peer management, community fundraising role.
  • Passion for mental health and importance of how women experience mental health and illness.
  • Demonstrated experience of meeting and exceeding revenue targets, developing and executing new fundraising strategies to deliver growth.
  • Depth of experience and knowledge in peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust, self-motivated, enthusiastic and goal orientated.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with ability to make people feel at ease and easy going.
  • Team player willing to learn and problem solve, with ability to manage and a mentor small team.
  • Highly organised, with ability to well under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal, written and persuasive presentation and delivery skills.
