Due to movement in the team, we are looking for an experienced Community or Events fundraising professional with a proven track record and excellent project management skills looking to build their career. As Senior Account Manager, you get to lead the development and delivery of peer-to-peer event fundraising campaigns, working together with their highly skilled digital and creative teams across the agency. With knowledge of the best strategies, tools and tactics, you will be rolling out multi-channel campaigns to meet and exceed targets. Experience with working across digital channels (website, email and social media) are pivotal for peer-to-peer campaigns so experience in this area will be an advantage.

We are looking for someone with a passion for peer-to-peer fundraising and a positive can-do attitude that can operate at strategically and at execution level whilst building great relationships with charity clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for managing fundraising event and community fundraising clients.
  • Input in the development of plans whilst leading implementation & providing reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide the highest levels of customer service and improve on existing client relationships.
  • Organise client and creative briefings, coordinate concept development to production, to ensure campaign budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  • Work across various channels including email, SMS, social media, search, display, YouTube, websites, print and mail.
  • Work with data agencies and data analysts to source data and then provide post campaign analysis.
  • Provide accurate quoting and invoicing relative to accounts managed.
  • Be responsible for continuous learning and development whilst contributing to a vibrant workforce.

Key Skills required:

  • Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience in Fundraising preferred,
  • A few years working experience in peer-to-peer campaigns and community fundraising/events essential.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with ability to deliver multiple complex projects on time and in budget.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to maintain and extend client relationships.
  • Collaborative, professional, ethical and self-aware with ability to inspire and motivate team members and drive collective success.
  • Experience of peer-to-peer donor acquisition and engagement strategies desirable.
  • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Well-developed inter-personal skills and experience in interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence and ability to take control of a situation where appropriate with the ability to lead, motivate and influence.
