Essential Criteria

  • Ability to relate professionally and with courtesy to a wide range of people: stakeholders, colleagues, clients, solicitors and government authorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Experience providing administrative support.
  • Approachable and responsive to requests for assistance from staff members and volunteers.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage with competing demands.
  • Very high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Resourceful and flexible attitude to duties.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • A commitment to social justice and an interest in issues impacting CCLS consumers.

Desirable Criteria

  • High proficiency and ability to use of all Microsoft 365 suite of programs.
  • Experience in data entry and client management systems.
  • Experience or an understanding of community, not for profit organisations.
  • Experience in a (legal) Administration role is helpful but not essential.

This position is flexible, offering up to three days per week. This position is responsible for providing administrative support and assistance to all staff and volunteers to meet the service needs including its statutory, contractual, legal and financial requirements.
