This position sits within the Marketing & Fundraising Division (M&F) of Cancer Council. The Community Fundraising unit works at a grassroots level to engage communities and form sustainable relationships, to ensure growth and sustainability of our fundraising portfolio.
Reporting to the Community Fundraising Lead this role is responsible for identifying and engaging supporters and community stakeholders, as well as delivering fundraising events to achieve sustainable community fundraising outcomes. The Community Fundraising Coordinator will work closely with the broader local team to ensure our visible and relevant presence in community and build sustainable relationships to raise funds to improve cancer outcomes. While this role is primarily located at our Cancer Council Tamworth office, some travel will be required to support surrounding communities.
This is a full time, maximum term contract role ending in December 2025.
