About the team

The Marketing & Fundraising Division is embarking on an ambitious 5-year growth plan. A key part of this plan is an ambitious agenda to develop a best-in-class Philanthropy program, tied to the strategic priorities of Cancer Council’s mission.

This will mean harnessing the possibilities available in our database, our philanthropic partners, while exploring and mining new prospective funding partners through intelligent analysis and prospecting. In doing this, we aim to double the value of the philanthropy program.

  • Build strong relationships with fundraisers and relationship managers to link data and research to prospect approaches.
  • Research and prepare biographies and related briefing materials for senior staff and volunteers to support relationship building, stewardship activities and prospect identification.
  • Manage prospect research related documentation, and provide data enrichment ensuring that information is maintained, updated and accessible through all CCNSW files, and the CRM database.
  • Other responsibilities as determined by the Head of Philanthropy.
