This role sits within the Philanthropy and Supporter Experience team (PSX) team within the FMC Group, which aims to provide a diversity of funding opportunities for all prospective and existing supporters of CCQ. The team delivers expertise in all aspects of Philanthropy and traditional fundraising, as well as innovative new ways of engaging the Queensland community and CCQ supporters while enhancing their experience of giving to CCQ.
The Manager, Gifts in Will is responsible for managing and implementing CCQ’s Bequest and Major Gifts programs via acquisition, retention and world-class stewardship activities that build a sustainable pipeline of support that will future proof CCQ and its programs.
This role is a Permanent, Full-time role (37.5 hours per week) that manages a team of three including a Major Gifts specialist, Senior Coordinator and Coordinator.
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in philanthropy, marketing communications or a similar field with substantial demonstrated experience in bequest fundraising and donor relations.
You will have proven experience in building and developing successful relationships with key internal and external stakeholders with demonstrated success in driving and achieving significant income targets year on year.
CCQ has a Leadership Capability Framework which outlines the necessary capabilities of leaders at different leadership levels: Executive (CEO and GMs), Senior Managers, Managers, and Frontline Managers (Team Leaders and Senior Coordinators).
As a leader at CCQ you will be expected to demonstrate behaviours under three core capability groups: Vision and Strategy, Driving Outcomes and Attributes and Behaviours.
