Conservation Council of WA

OVERVIEW OF ORGANISATION

The Conservation Council of Western Australia (CCWA) has been a prominent and forthright voice for conservation for more than 50 years. Working with over eighty environmental member organisations, communities, government, Traditional Owners, funders, media and industries, CCWA advocates for the protection and restoration of the natural environment; and promotes a more sustainable WA.

Projects and campaigns range from local conservation projects to ending the era of fossil fuels, stopping biodiversity loss and promoting citizen science. CCWA is a unique mix of campaign groups, environmental advocacy and hands-on conservation, and is a forum for like-minded organisations and individuals.
