Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has an exciting new opportunity for someone who is energetic and enthusiastic about supporting children and young people with disability to engage in different opportunities in South Australia.
Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years. CYDA has extensive national networks of young people with disability, families and caregivers of children with disability, and advocacy and community organisations.
Our vision is that children and young people with disability in Australia will fully exercise their rights, realise their aspirations and thrive in all communities.
Reporting to the Inclusive Education Project Coordinator, the Inclusive Education Project Support Officer will assist in the successful delivery of a South Australian Roadmap to Inclusive Education, building on the ACIE National Roadmap. The role provides essential support in planning, coordinating, and implementing events, programs and resources.
The Project Support Officer will work closely with children and young people with disability, families, and stakeholders to ensure their voices are central to the project. This includes facilitating co-design processes, providing administrative support and ensuring inclusive and accessible engagement opportunities.
