ABOUT THE ROLE

CEHL is focused on creating positive housing outcomes for our partner housing co-operatives, co-op members and renters. We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Coordinator to join the Maintenance Team - key accountabilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide responsive, high-quality maintenance management services per the Residential Tenancies Act and CEHL policies and procedures.
  • Ensure effectively and efficient assessment, allocation and monitoring of cyclical, responsive, urgent and facilities maintenance requests.
  • Provide a high level of quality control for processing quotes, invoices, and budget allocations, including leading the Annual Assets Maintenance Plan.
  • Ensure full contractor management, including induction, compliance, quality control and value for money.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve renter requests or follow-up items efficiently.
  • Maintain positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
  • Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The role will ideally suit an experienced Senior Maintenance Coordinator with a positive can-do attitude. The successful candidate will be able to problem solve, have a proactive work ethic coupled with the following qualifications, experience and attributes:

  • Relevant qualifications/s with previous experience in the housing or building industry preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance and facilities management.
  • Advanced administrative support skills with a sound working knowledge of electronic record management systems, including reporting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including a mature and professional approach to customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and ability to feedback issues, organise and prioritise tasks, problem solve, and ask questions when needing further clarification.
