We are looking for passionate, committed people who have a genuine drive to make a difference. In return, you’ll enjoy working as part of a supportive, close-knit team and the opportunity to build a meaningful career in a growing industry.
From our humble beginnings in 1958 as a small group of local people gathering to help others in their community to where we stand today, as one of Queensland’s largest providers of social services, we care about people in ways that help them live their fullest lives. As part of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, we support tens of thousands of people from the Gold Coast to Hervey Bay, out to Kingaroy, and everywhere in between.
Being able to age well and enjoy life from the comfort of home is really important for our aged care clients. Whether it’s a helping hand around the house and garden, or support to get out and about in the community and connect with others, you’ll enjoy walking alongside our clients to ensure they enjoy a full and active life for many years to come. We have opportunities for qualified and non support workers to join our Team in the Gold Coast. Focusing on the suburbs of Hope Island, Labrador, Ashmore, Carrara, Mermaid Waters, Robin and Burleigh Heads. A key focus of this role will be to provide domestic assistance to elderly clients living in their own homes.
As a Centacare Support Worker, you’ll enjoy walking alongside our aged care clients to support their needs and aspirations and enjoy life from the comfort of their own home. This could mean support with personal care, domestic assistance, social visits, transport, running errands, preparing meals and support to enjoy hobbies and interests.
If this sounds like you and you’re interested in joining our team, complete the application form!
If you have any further queries, please contact our People and Culture Team on 07 3255 7798 or email [email protected] using the subject line: Aged Care Support Worker - Gold Coast enquiry via EthicalJobs.
