The National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) invites consultant(s) with a passion for inclusive arts to develop an Inclusive Arts Practice Framework to support delivery of culturally safe and accessible art programs. NEDA will work with community arts centres and collectives across ACT, NSW, WA, Queensland, and Victoria to pilot the framework, under the Department of Social Services’ Inclusive Arts Project.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of existing inclusive arts frameworks.
  • Develop and provide guidance to implement a fit-for-purpose framework for community arts centers/collectives.
  • Design and deliver training for arts facilitators.
  • Produce accessible, multi-format guidance materials.
  • Collaborate with an established advisory group to integrate feedback and finalise recommendations.

Consultant Qualifications:

  • Passion for the arts and expertise in disability inclusive practices.
  • Proven experience in policy framework development, with a focus on CALD and disability sectors.
  • Strong facilitation skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A registered Australian Business Number (ABN).
