The National Ethnic Disability Alliance (NEDA) works to ensure culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) people with disability have equal access to services and support. We collaborate closely with government, community organisations, and partners to challenge discrimination and eliminate systemic barriers. Our team reflects the communities we serve, and we foster an inclusive, equity-based environment. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join NEDA, a national Disabled People’s Organisation committed to advocating for the rights and well-being of CALD people with disability. 

As a Projects & Policy Officer, you’ll play a critical role in driving advocacy efforts, coordinating impactful projects, and developing policies that help foster inclusive and accessible communities.

With responsibilities spanning project development, stakeholder engagement, research, and advocacy, this role offers you the chance to deliver real-world change while working within a diverse, supportive team.

ABOUT YOU

We’re seeking a passionate individual with:

  • A background in policy research, advocacy, or project management (minimum 2 years’ experience)
  • Knowledge of disability rights and inclusion, particularly for CALD communities
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in managing competing priorities and driving project outcomes
  • An understanding of government processes is highly desirable

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Salary: SCHADS Award Level 5.1, equating to approximately $97,378 per annum, plus superannuation
  • Salary packaging: Access up to $15,900 per annum in tax-free salary packaging to maximise your take-home pay
