CERES EARTH is a registered charity with the principal purpose of protecting and enhancing the natural environment. Starting as a rubbish tip, CERES has grown into a thriving green hub: a model for urban farms around Australia, a living education centre for environmental best practice, and an incubator for better business and ideas that might just change the world.
More than half a million people visit the site each year, and its social enterprises – which include cafes, market gardens, an organic grocery and bakery, sustainable timber, home delivered groceries (CERES Fair Food), a retail nursery, workshops, school education and regular events and festivals – reach many more.
Where you come in
As the Digital Content Creator you’ll work with the Marketing Manager to create content (organic and paid) across our social platforms to help drive business outcomes for CFF.
Key areas of accountability
Create authentic and engaging social content to drive brand awareness, website track and engagement:
- Manage and maintain CFF social channels (mostly Meta).
- Create quality content for our audience (photos, videos, explainers, stories, reels, carousels) approximately 3 to 4 posts per week.
- Focus on local, organic fruit veg including growers and makers.
- Focus on sustainability including low waste and returnable, reusable packaging.
- Focus on food and cooking tips including recipes and content from our existing database.
- Identify trends or opportunities on socials, reach out to influencers.
- Connect with the wider CERES team to share and execute ideas.
Develop and implement advertising campaigns on socials:
- Develop new campaigns working closely from a brief with the
Marketing Manager.
Support creative and copywriting needs for BAU marketing activities:
- Work with the Fair Food teams to support marketing campaigns and assets where necessary.
Health, safety, security and risk management
- Be a role model for safety and security including complying with all safety instructions and training given at the workplace.
- Act in a safe manner at all times and participate with keeping all employees, contractors and volunteers safe whilst on and o the premises.
- Report all incidents, potential hazards and injuries in a timely manner.
- Be aware of the risks associated with your team’s every day work and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are applied.
