Requirements:

• Hold the following qualifications: Mental Health Social Worker/Social Worker
• Current membership with your professional governing body (AASW)
• Accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker/Social Worker
• Current Medicare Australia provider status (MHSW) or wishing to undertake supervised training for MHSW (desirable)
• Comfortable seeing between 5-6 clients per clinic day
• Excellence in delivering a range of therapeutic approaches with individual clients, family counselling, linking people to services, and support for the disadvantaged
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to problem solve and time manage
• A strong understanding of and commitment to upholding professional ethics alongside of the legal and statutory requirements
• Hold registered company status
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance required
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children’s Check
• Moderate computer skills: ability to use online calendars, emails, and platforms such as Zoom
