About the role
The purpose of this role to manage the high-profile CEW Scholarship Program, liaising across the CEW team and the Scholarships Committee to ensure impactful outcomes for the program, Scholars, Scholarship partners, and donors. This role requires demonstrated experience in account management, senior stakeholder engagement and program/project management.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract, from mid-June 2025 to end of January 2026. The position is part-time 0.8 FTE (four days per week); applications for 0.6 FTE (three days per week, or reduced hours across five days) are also welcomed.

Key responsibilities
- Program Management: Manage end-to-end program delivery of CEW Scholarships Program to meet the objectives of 2030 Scholarships Strategy, including operational planning, budget and expenditure management, risk management, and reporting.
- Line management: Provide leadership to the CEW Scholarships Team (currently one direct report), including providing training and development opportunities, direction, and support for team members.
- Relationship building: Account management of CEW Scholarship partners and donors, developing and maintaining strong working relationships in line with required outcomes for each scholarship.
- Business Development: In partnership with the Senior Business Development Manager, Scholarships Committee, and CEO, foster new partnerships to fund additional CEW Scholarships.
- Contracting: Lead contracting and renewals process for Scholarship partner contracts.
- Scholar experience: Oversee the relationship management with CEW Scholars, from point of award to post-program engagement
- Event management: In collaboration with the Events Manager, plan and deliver high calibre, engaging events for Scholars and Partners.
- Monitoring and evaluation: Conduct analysis on program monitoring and evaluation data; identify and implement continuous improvements to the Scholar/Alumni experience in line with objectives of 2030 Scholarships Strategy
Required qualifications and experience
- Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in account management, fundraising, business development or related discipline, and three years’ minimum relevant experience, including in program or project management.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing income and expenditure budgets and financial literacy.
- Demonstrated experience in program or project management, and proven track record of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.
Desirable qualifications and experience
- Experience creating marketing briefs and copy writing.
- Experience in the NFP sector, tertiary education sector, and/or gender equality
- Line management experience.
- Experience in program monitoring and evaluation.
