Are you a strategic leader passionate about supporting community organisations?
CHNS supports 72 Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres across South East Melbourne and the Bayside Peninsula. We’re seeking a collaborative, forward-thinking Network Manager to lead the implementation of our Strategic Plan, strengthen sector advocacy, and provide governance and compliance guidance to our member Houses.
Your role will include:
- Providing strategic leadership across the CHNS region
- Supporting member Houses with governance, compliance, and sustainability
- Advocating for the Neighbourhood House sector with government and partners
- Guiding the Network Coordinator and Finance Officer to align with strategic goals
- Overseeing strategic planning, funding submissions, and reporting
- Building partnerships to enhance capacity-building across the network
About you:
- Experienced leader in the community or Neighbourhood House sector
- Strong understanding of governance, strategic planning, and advocacy
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement and sector collaboration
- Confident overseeing project planning and compliance at a regional level
Essential requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Community Development or related field, or significant experience managing Community Centres or Neighbourhood Houses
- Current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid working rights
