Super Consumers Australia at CHOICE is looking for a passionate advocate who wants to help protect the interests of people on medium to low incomes, women, and First Nations people in Australia’s superannuation system.
First and foremost, you’re looking for a role where you can make a difference. You have a passion for fairness and you believe in our mission to help those who are poorly served by the superannuation system.
You will be employed by CHOICE as part of a dedicated team on superannuation issues. You will report to the CEO of Super Consumers and be part of the senior leadership team.
You will lead and manage advocacy projects. This will mean everything from shaping strategy as part of the senior leadership team, driving high-level engagement with decision makers, engaging with media, and ensuring your written policy submissions are backed by credible research.
You will help Super Consumers connect with key stakeholders across government, industry and regulators. As well as fostering relationships with the consumer organisations, the community sector and academia.
Super Consumers Australia is the advocate for people on low and middle incomes in Australia’s superannuation system. We were founded to fight for an accountable and fair super system that delivers great service and great financial outcomes in retirement. Based on deep research, we influence policymakers, hold super funds accountable, and help consumers maximise and manage their super.
Formed in 2013, we are an independent, not-for-profit organisation and a leading voice for consumers of superannuation products and services. We partner with Australia’s biggest consumer advocacy body, CHOICE.
