About the role

As an Early Years Workforce Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and supporting the dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to provide high-quality early childhood education and care services within our municipality. Your expertise and leadership will contribute significantly to the growth and development of our youngest citizens, ensuring they receive the best possible start in life.

The purpose of this role is to:

  • Support the services and leadership teams to be resourced with educators in accordance with the Education and Care regulatory requirements on a daily basis.
  • Monitor and report on labour usage.
  • Engage in the recruitment processes for the unit.
  • Supervise the Casual Pool
  • Support the unit with implementing our Workforce Plan.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent and efficient organisational skills including proven skills and experience in financial monitoring, rostering and excel.
  • Proven experience and confidence in managing a casual pool
  • Qualifications and/or experience in business, administration, human resourcing or leadership.
  • Excellent collaboration abilities with internal and external stakeholders
