Yarra Libraries has an exciting opportunity for an experienced programmer and events/project manager to join the team at Fitzroy Library in a fixed-term, part-time role. Oversee the development and delivery of literary events (including author talks, readings and performances) and support existing library programming funded by the Ewing Trust.

Since 1991, the Ewing Trust has provided Yarra City Council with funding to support a range of library operations, including the acquisition of collection items and the delivery of major literary events for the Fitzroy community including Kids Book Fest and Fitzroy Writers Festival.

We are looking for a creative and highly organised individual with demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-quality, impactful events. Previous experience in a public library is not necessary; this specialist role does not include library customer service shifts.
