Are you passionate about community development and urban revitalisation? Join our dynamic team at Yarra as the Manager for the Victoria Street Revitalisation Project. Reporting to the General Manager Community Strengthening, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team to drive the development and delivery of this transformative project.
In this role, you will leverage Council's resources to assess feasibility, impact, and resource needs for proposed interventions, ensuring activities are pursued in an integrated and coordinated way. You will work closely with residents, businesses, and private sector stakeholders, with a special focus on highlighting the Vietnamese community's cultural and economic contributions to Victoria Street.
As part of the Community Strengthening Leadership Team, you will drive positive organisational change and provide strategic advice on key issues facing the precinct and the broader Yarra community. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting a productive culture that values diversity, trust, and respect.
We are seeking a highly committed individual with a deep understanding of local government and the statutory and legislative requirements of Council roles. The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience and a proven track record in leading, developing, and implementing strategic, complex projects and service improvements in a dynamic environment.
