Clarity Health Care (est. 2013) is an accredited, innovative mental health team providing holistic, wrap-around clinical treatment for clients with a broad range of mental health concerns.

The Team and Model of Care

Our senior multi-disciplinary team consists of psychiatrists, clinical and general psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and registered nurses. We are specialised in the community delivery of evidence-based clinical treatments which are grounded in the recovery model and have delivered exceptional functional outcomes for clients across many years. The Clarity Team are deeply passionate about our client-centred approach; promoting choice and independence for our clients within their recoveries.

The team provide interventions via multiple modalities which are best-practice and tailored to individuals. Our flexible work consists of clinic-based appointments (multiple locations), telehealth, groups and outreach services. Clinicians are empowered to work creatively to achieve the best outcome for clients across all streams of our service.

Clarity offers stepped-care; from stabilisation through to long-term engagements, providing meaningful and valued therapeutic alliances with our clients and their loved ones. The model of care and treatment modalities equate to a fulfilling role for the right mental health clinicians.

This exciting new role has been created in response to growing demand for our service across our multiple programs including;

• Head2Help
• Hospital-Substitution Programs (has successfully reduced admissions by over 90%)
• Better Access to Mental Health (Medicare)

The Role

We are currently looking for an ongoing Clinical/General Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Nurse who is passionate about community treatment, has keen formulation skills and engages clients effectively.

The clinician for this role is required to be eligible for a Medicare provider number (RN's exempt) and will be experienced in several of the following: schema therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, DBT, EMDR, trauma informed care and/or CBT (training opportunities offered to the right clinician as needed).

Clarity offer significant professional development opportunities with monthly training workshops, weekly complex case reviews and regular supervision with senior staff (including Prof David Castle). This role is well remunerated and provides very flexible hours with WFH available for a portion of the role (in collaboration with practice manager). We are happy to consider a full-time position across 4 days.
