Work with a team of dedicated professionals

We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Events Manager to lead the way in planning and executing exceptional events – from intimate gatherings to high-profile business events. This is your opportunity to bring your creativity and experience to the table, implementing new systems and processes that will elevate our event experiences. As our new Events Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating seamless and unforgettable events. With your expertise, you’ll drive everything from planning to execution, ensuring every event runs like clockwork.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the charge on multiple events at once – from the ground up, bringing your vision to life!
  • Implement the innovative Sydney Lawyers initiative, engaging estate planning lawyers and coordinating tours of our Institute, ensuring they leave impressed.
  • Take control of logistics and budgets to ensure every event runs smoothly, on time, and within budget.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including law firms, clients, donors and internal teams.

A rewarding role in every way

  • Full time role – 35 hours per week. However, the role requires occasional evening or weekend work, depending on event schedules.

What can you bring to this role?

  • A degree and/or Diploma in Marketing, Event Management or related field of study.
  • 2 years of experience in event management or a relevant discipline.
  • Strong relationship building skills with multiple stakeholders.
  • Great attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • A high proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Strong database (CRM) management experience and proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • A driver’s license and ideally your own car for occasional use at events.
