The Community Media Training Organisation (CMTO) is looking for a Partnerships Coordinator to help expand our training partnerships, strengthen connections across the community broadcasting sector, and support the delivery of high-quality, inclusive training programs.

CMTO is a nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation (RTO), and charity dedicated to providing accessible and engaging training for community broadcasters across Australia. We work with Indigenous, multilingual, religious, disability, ethnic, and regional communities to ensure diverse voices are heard in Australia’s media landscape.

As Partnerships Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing relationships with a extensive and divers range of stakeholders including, community radio and television stations, trainers, and partner organisations, ensuring that training programs meet their needs and align with CMTO’s broader goals.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating CMTO’s partner-led training activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and strong sector engagement.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with community broadcasters, training providers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Supporting the Pathways and Partnerships Manager in expanding CMTO’s partnerships and generating new opportunities.
  • Providing administrative support, tracking partnership activities, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with the planning and coordination of sector conferences, programs, and events.
  • Ensuring all partnership activities are inclusive, culturally sensitive, and accessible to a diverse range of participants.
  • Liaising with CMTO’s trainers to ensure high-quality learning experiences for all participants.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, or training administration.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills, including experience managing multiple projects.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with community media, training, or education sectors is highly regarded.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in community broadcasting and education.
