About the role:

We are looking for a talented Lead Generation Specialist to help us attract, and provide solutions for, large fleet operators within Australia.The role will primarily be to generate new business and/or individual leads who fit within the target markets identified in our sales strategy. You’ll utilise your tried and true prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects, including conducting pre-sales research, and scheduling discovery meetings. Reporting to the National Fleet Manager, this is a full time remote role to be performed within Australia. At Car Next Door, we believe in flexibility that suits the individual, which has been our way of working since the business began. We have set up systems that support our staff to work from anywhere. Whatever your circumstances are, we will fully support you working remotely, in a co-working space, or a hybrid of both.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Generate lists of businesses/individuals for us to target, based on the guidelines provided in our sales strategy
  • Develop prospecting strategies from scratch
  • Perform cold calls, as well as booking and setting up initial sales meetings
  • Assist with diary management for the Owner Onboarding team to coordinate sales related meetings
  • Prepare presentations, sales resources and proposals for the sales team
  • Capture and report on customer insights, including the needs and challenges of prospective customers
  • Attend relevant conferences, meetings, and industry events

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to bring:

  • 2+ years experience working on outbound lead generation
  • Proficiency in sales tools such as Hubspot etc.
  • The ability to put together a lead generation plan
  • Previous experience in business to business sales
  • Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
  • A solution orientated mindset
  • A natural ability to build relationships
  • Comfortability communicating with business owners (often being the initial point of contact)
