The Role

Bendigo Art Gallery is one of the largest regional galleries in Australia and is looking for a new Public Programs and Learning Officer.

In this varied position you will assist with the planning and delivery of educational and public programs to enhance community engagement, educational outreach, and promote a deeper appreciation for the arts through innovative and accessible programming.

You will assist the Gallery with:

  • Coordinating program scheduling and logistics
  • Attending and supervising programs
  • Assisting in the delivery of innovative visual art and cross curriculum learning programs through the creation and delivery of presentations, online resources, tours and workshops for students and family groups

About You

You will be able to manage your time, set priorities, and plan and organise your own work to achieve specific and set objectives in the most efficient way possible.

To be successful in this role, you will have great customer service skills, event experience and administration skills.

If you are passionate about art and have knowledge of the education system and innovation we want to hear for you.

A satisfactory police records check and Working With Children Check is required for this position.
