Escape the Vape is an initiative aimed at improving health outcomes in Central Victoria by reducing vaping rates amongst children and young people. The initiative will work across Central Goldfields Shire, City of Greater Bendigo, Macedon Ranges Shire and Mount Alexander Shire.
In this role, you will lead this project across the four local government areas and with key health and community organisations. You will drive systems change and improve health outcomes by raising community awareness and education about the harms of vaping amongst young people.
You will the lead the planning, programming, delivery and reporting requirements of the project, develop relationships with key stakeholders and undertake evaluation.
This role is funded by State Government through to December 2025. The role is full time or part time (4 days a week) with flexibility on the days worked. Regular travel will be required for the role and you can be based at any of the four local government offices involved in the project.
