About the role

The Case Work Team Leader is an expert in their field. This role drives the team to deliver impactful service, ensure the team is equipped, engaged, clear on and accountable for their objectives. A primary objective of this role is to deliver a safe and inclusive, consumer first service.

Your duties include:

  • Leads team to deliver collective and individual objectives
  • Ensure team activities deliver the service Model of Care and align with cohealth strategy
  • Recruiting and inducting new team members and building their self-organising capability and fostering alignment with team members
  • Effective day to day team leadership activities such as rostering, team leave, timesheets etc
  • Identifying training needs and enabling skills acquisition for individual team members

Our ideal candidate

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g. Alcohol and Other Drugs, Community Development, Social Work)
  • Proof of qualification to be sighted
  • Demonstrated team leadership in a community or public health organisation working with marginalised populations
  • Demonstrated experience developing positive team culture

All appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC), a Working With Children Check (WWCC), complete a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination.

Roles that are determined to be Risk Category A or B [staff that have direct and/or indirect contact with body substances and are at higher risk of occupational exposure to infections] will be required to provide evidence of immunisation assessment including Influenza prior to commencement [A] or within 12 weeks of commencement [B].
