About the role

The role requires a Registered Nurse who has demonstrated experience in providing a range of sexual and reproductive women's health services and operates from a social model of health, prioritising access to services for women from high need and disadvantaged community groups.

Your duties include:

  • Support a successful relationship between GPs, practice nurses and key stakeholders
  • Provide effective access points to women seeking services and coordinate care with internal and external service providers as required.
  • Work within a model of care for women to access sexual and reproductive services in a timely way including Medical Termination of Pregnancy
  • Provide Individual and group health promotion and advice relating to women's sexual and reproductive health

Our ideal candidate:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1 with current practicing license with APHRA (Victorian Nurses' Board) with minimum 5 years postgraduate experience
  • Proof of qualification to be sighted
  • Competency and experience in sexual and reproductive health care, including medical termination of pregnancy provision and contraceptive options counselling
  • Full Victorian Driver's License
