Collingwood Children's Farm is a registered charity and a certified social trader enterprise dedicated to fostering community engagement, education and environmental sustainability.
The Farm has a rich and captivating past that spans over several decades. From humble beginnings as a local community project to becoming a cherished educational resource, the Farm has positively impacted the lives of countless children, adults and families throughout its history.
The Farm is set on 8 hectares of land, 5 km from Melbourne CBD, thus making it a unique urban agriculture asset.
The Farm is governed by a dedicated Committee of Management (CoM), comprising skilled and experienced volunteers, who provide a governance framework and strategic direction and oversight of the Farm and the CEO.
The Farm has nearly 2,000 members, over 300 volunteers and 27 staff.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the key leadership role that supports the purpose and strategy of Collingwood Children's Farm (CCF).
The CEO is ultimately responsible for implementing the strategic direction, vision and effective management of CCF. They play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic plans, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, leading initiatives, providing high-quality structured systems to support the expanding activities for day-to-day operations, and upholding CCF’s reputation.
The CEO will lead by example in all aspects of work, and is directly related to the success of the organisation, ensuring it achieves its objectives while maintaining its core values and mission.
