As the People and Culture Coordinator you will:
- Drive the end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes. Once you find your feet, you will provide recommendations on how we can improve the recruitment, onboarding and offboarding experience.
- Run the check-ins with new starters and conduct exit interviews. You will collect feedback, find recurring themes and make suggestions as to what feedback we should action on.
- Lead continued development of ConnectAbility HRIS.
- Support our performance review process.
- Assist with our remuneration review process.
- Assist in the effective coordination of HR matters including but not limited to secondments, flexible working arrangements, preparation of files and research for complex matters.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a self-service environment through establishing and updating guides and tools for managers and employees.
- Administer our annual engagement surveys.
- Be the first point of contact for leave and pay-related questions as well as any queries from new starters and any interested people who want to work with us.
- Maintain all our people-related policies and processes.
- Ensure Workplace Health and Safety considerations and compliance needs are met.
- Plan fun virtual and in-real-life social activities for the team (team building exercises).
- Assist with office administration/business operations tasks.
- Experience in Rehabilitation and Return to Work Coordinator duties (highly regarded).
SELECTION CRITERIA
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma or degree in Business / HR supported by a minimum of 3 years hands on experience in a HR role.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and practically apply legislation and policies.
- Demonstrated experience in working in the disability services, aged care and community-based sector (Highly regarded)
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide outstanding customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in the Microsoft Office Suite, ie Word, Excel & PowerPoint
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or the ability to attain one.
- Current Working with Children Check for paid employment or the ability to attain one.
- NDIS Worker Orientation module completion certificate or the ability to attain one.
