Join the team at Cool.org, a leading Edtech not-for-profit that's transforming education! We're a not-for-profit on a mission to create cutting-edge online resources that empower educators to inspire the next generation. Our resources ignite curiosity in kids and equip educators with the tools they need to explore environmental, social and economic sustainability challenges. With a database of over 201,000 Australian educator members, we are one of the largest independent networks reaching schools across Australia.
We partner with value-aligned organisations to bring engaging and impactful content into classrooms across Australia. Now, we're looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Lead to join our team and amplify our marketing efforts as we work towards realising our vision and mission. This is your chance to be part of a dynamic, fast-paced team and play a key role in driving our growth. If you're excited about making a difference in education and ready for a thrilling journey, we'd love to have you on board!
The work culture at Cool is dynamic, inclusive and flexible. All of us are driven by our core Cool Behaviours, which shape our communication and collaboration -
The ideal candidate is a marketing and communications superstar who believes education is the key to driving real-world change! We expect you might be a mid-level with a few years of experience, someone from an adjacent field looking for a new career path in marketing, or even a stay-at-home parent looking to return to the workforce.
Reporting to Kirsten, our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality partner marketing strategies, EDMs and social media content, as well as developing and managing thriving, ongoing relationships with several key partner accounts.
This is a busy and multifaceted role where you’ll enjoy plenty of variety, opportunities to learn, and a supportive team environment. To succeed, you’ll need to be organised, proactive, creative, curious, and detail-oriented. We’re a small team, so you’ll need to be comfortable working autonomously as well as collaboratively and willing to step outside your lane every now and again.
We're looking to fill the role on a full-time basis but are open to 0.9FTE or 0.8FTE for the right person.
We know you might not be able to check everything off the requirements list, and that's okay! If you’re up for a challenge, keen to learn, and feel you’d be a great cultural fit, we’d love to hear from you!
Please note that Cool.org is based in Melbourne, Victoria. In-person attendance in the Cool office is required 2 days per week, so international and interstate applicants should not apply.
