About Us

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the Role

This role provides case management support to people on bail with a range of complex needs who are participating in the Court Integrated Services Program (CISP).

  • Provide case management to people on bail with a range of complex needs, whilst they are on bail or summons.
  • Undertake a needs/risk assessment and work with clients to develop a person-centred, individual support plan that aims to address the issues that are contributing to their offending behaviours.
  • Access, coordinate and monitor the delivery of a range of treatments and supports for clients, including housing, alcohol/drug treatment, family violence interventions and mental health treatment.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications infields such as Social Work, Psychology or Community Services
  • Case Management Experience
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop
