The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

About the role

The Senior Project Officer within the Court Experience Team and will manage the design and delivery of initiatives that improve court user experience and access to justice in family violence. With a focus on user centre design, the Senior Project Officer will lead the development and delivery of a range of initiatives in line with the strategic priorities of the Court.

A primary focus will be the management and further development of online platforms including the online family violence intervention order application form, and other initiatives. As Senior Project Officer you will manage across the project lifecycle, ensuring delivery of high-quality outputs on time and within budget. You will also work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the court, lead consultation processes and provide high level specialist advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues.

Procurement and contract management responsibilities may apply across some initiatives.

About you

We are looking for a highly motivated and outcomes driven person who enjoys working with a range of stakeholders to contribute their user centred design, stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills to the role of Senior Project officer.

Demonstrated knowledge of family violence would be highly regarded.
