About the role

Reporting directly to the Regional Therapy Manager (Northern NSW), you will be responsible for service delivery and operational leadership of an experienced allied health team based in Alstonville.

You will lead a team of 12 comprising of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists and client service consultants with an aim to deliver high quality, client-focused and outcome driven services to clients with a disability.

You will also be responsible for the implementation of operational business plans and will assist with the development and implementation of strategy, continuous improvement and maximisation of productivity within the greater region, achievement of performance targets and for establishing and maintaining relationships within the community.

This role is a permanent, full time role and requires a natural leader with excellent communication and influencing skills to support the effective behaviours and ensure the culture of the Alstonville office maintains the positive CPA value driven culture.

About you

  • Understanding of the rights of people with a disability
  • Proven advanced people management skills
  • Sound problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills
  • Proven experience managing a community based, health or disability service
  • Demonstrated ability to lead during times of uncertainty and constant change
  • Strong commercial acumen and sound business management skills that ensure the delivery of quality service outcomes whilst achieving financial KPI's
  • Excellent understanding of customer service standards and demonstrated ability to manage a team to provide exceptional customer service
  • Strong community networks within the region
  • Current Valid Driver's License in NSW
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one before commencement
