About the role

Cerebral Palsy Alliance is looking to appoint two dynamic, proactive and passionate individuals to the roles of Rostering Coordinators within the CareForce team for two parental leave covers.

The Rostering Coordinator is responsible for maximising the engagement, allocation and utilisation of CPA's casual workforce across a diverse range of service areas.

These temporary roles are located in Prairiewood with the view to allow for some working from home flexibility and will be full-time positions with a rotating roster. CareForce Alliance is responsible for the rostering shifts for our disability support workers. The successful candidates will be outgoing and eager to join a fast-paced team.

What are the duties of the role?

  • Assist in the creation and refinement of casual's rosters.
  • Contribute to the orientation and onboarding process to ensure CPA's casual workforce are work-ready and experience a seamless transition into the organisation.
  • Coordinate the completion of employee's essential training and skill development to ensure compliance.
  • Conduct regular check ins with an allocated group of casuals.
  • Identify and assess employee availability and suitability to maximise utilisation.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with managers.
  • Build sustainable relationships with the CareForce Alliance workforce to increase engagement, and utilisation and retention rates.
  • Collate relevant information to support performance targets.

What will you bring to the role?

To ensure exceptional service delivery, it is essential that you meet all of the following criteria:

  • Rostering or scheduling experience.
  • Excellent communication, the ability to work well in a team environment and independently and proactively.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and changing environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
  • A positive "can do" attitude.
  • Exceptional time management and ability to handle competing workloads.
  • Be creative by nature, where problem solving and thinking outside the square comes easily to you.
  • Be able to pick up processes and procedures in an efficient manner.
  • Current NSW Driver's License.
  • Current WWCC and Police Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement in the role.
