Drive Compliance & Excellence in Payroll Operations

Are you an experienced payroll or compliance specialist with a passion for ensuring accuracy, fairness, and best-practice processes? We are seeking a Senior Project Specialist - Pay & Benefits to play a key role in driving payroll compliance, process integrity, and operational oversight within a complex and highly regulated environment.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead payroll compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks, internal governance, and industrial instruments.

Reporting to the Senior Manager - Payroll, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing payroll compliance projects, ensuring calculations and adjustments align with legislation and enterprise agreements.
  • Validating and reconciling pay adjustments, ensuring accuracy and fairness for employees.
  • Providing expert guidance on payroll frameworks, industrial instruments, and regulatory requirements.
  • Leading cross-functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance best practices.
  • Developing clear, employee-friendly communication around payroll matters in conjunction with key stakeholders.
  • Maintaining audit-ready records of payroll processes and compliance decisions.
