About The Team

This role is located at our East Maitland site - a multidisciplinary team of 13 Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and a wonderful Allied Health Assistant. Working with a mixed caseload, this role provides opportunities to develop skills across a wide range of practice areas including complex communication and AAC, mealtime support and feeding skill development, early language development, and school readiness.

This role offers flexibility in hours with the possibility of 9 day fortnight and flexible start/finish times.At East Maitland we have a number of highly skilled therapists with specialties in the areas of infant development, complex equipment prescription and custom seating, AAC assessment and implementation, gait training, and custom orthotics. We also have senior therapists on the team who are involved in the research branch of CPA, bringing more opportunities to be involved in the development of new and exciting therapy interventions and innovations.

Our centre is centrally located allowing easy access to both Newcastle and the Hunter Valley region. We provide services to clients in the local area as well as outreach services to the Upper Hunter region and Gloucester, allowing for a caseload that is both varied in support needs and location.

What We're Looking For:

• Relevant qualifications in Speech Pathology
• Evidence of current SPA registration or a willingness to attain it.
• A current driver's license.
