At Port Macquarie we have 9 therapists in all three major disciplines (Speech, OT and Physio) giving everyone the opportunity to learn and grow within a multidisciplinary team. We have a mindset of continuous improvement and community engagement/support, and our self-identified team values are: Kind, supportive, trusting and agile.This is a Part Time opportunity for an experienced speech pathologist providing telehealth and remote services to clients based at the Port Macquarie clinic. There will be ad hoc requirements to travel to Port Macquarie.Working in a regional area also provides opportunity for rapid career development; young therapists will have the opportunity to work with a huge breadth of diagnoses, ages, and disability types, custom moulded seating, high-tech AAC, early intervention and complex mealtime management, allowing you to grow much more quickly than you might in other locations. Our caseload at Port Macquarie is very diverse with about 75% clients with CP+ and 25% other disabilities (ASD, GDD etc) with a fairly even spread of paediatric and adult clients.
