We are seeking an enthusiastic and positive person with experience and skills in working with databases and CRM software to work within our Communications and Engagement team.
Our ideal applicant will have past experience working with databases, EMS and/or CRM software, with a strong desire to learn and understand new and unique systems. They will understand the importance of teamwork and customer service, with a talent for problem-solving and troubleshooting in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
This is a role that will suit someone who has excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, and well-developed organisational skills.
The Community & Public Sector Union/Civil Service Association represents over 44,000 general public sector workers in Western Australia. That is one-quarter of the WA public sector workforce, including child protection officers, youth custodial officers, park rangers, veterinary scientists and dental technicians, to name a few.

The successful applicant will be responsible for maintaining accurate records in our membership database and contributing to and working in a team.
At Level 2 applicants should be able to demonstrate established data processing skills; strong numeracy, literacy and problem-solving skills; great verbal, time management and interpersonal skills; and be able to demonstrate an understanding of Database Management Systems and their broader role in records management, ICT and CRM provision.
At Level 3 applicants will have specific iMis database skills with a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and improve data management processes, with a focus on customer experience. At this higher level applicants will have a proven record of implementing process improvements and progressing solutions for data-driven member engagement.

An interest in Unions or experience in the WA Public Sector and/or Union movement would be considered favourably.
